Review: Bully Bundles Dog Chews

Doggy bully sticks are a much healthier and safer alternative to rawhide dog chews. They are made from the pizzle, or penis, of the bull. For this reason, you'll also see them referred to as pizzle sticks by some manufacturers. Dogs love the taste of these delicious chews! Bully Bundles offers a subscription service to have bully sticks delivered right to your front door each month.

One of the main reasons that pet owners prefer bully sticks over rawhide chews is because the sticks are easily digestible. Many dog chews are not 100% digestible, but since bully sticks are made with only one ingredient, bull pizzle, your dog will have no trouble digesting them.

Bully sticks are also tough and take dogs a while to chew through them completely. We've been feeding our dogs bully sticks for years, so I was pleased when i received a one month supply of Bully Bundles to test with our girls. We have two puppies and an adult dog, and I'm pleased to say that all three of our furry family members enjoyed these bully sticks.

Bully Bundles Dog Chews Review

We've been feeding our dogs bully sticks for years. We have a 5-year-old boxer, a 1-year-old chocolate lab and a 4-month-old beagle/cocker spaniel mix. Our boxer is a rescue, and her dental health is very poor, but she still enjoys sucking on these bully sticks.

Bully sticks have proven to be a great option for our puppies, as it provides them with a healthy and enticing option for teething.

These bully sticks from Bully Bundles come in either 6-inch or 12-inch lengths and they are 5/8″-7/8″ thick. They are a single ingredient product, which means they have no preservatives or chemicals, and they are made in a facility approved by the USDA. These bully sticks come from free-range, grass-fed Brazilian cattle that are hormone- and antibiotic-free.

One of the first things that I noticed about Bully Bundle bully sticks is that there was no odor when i opened the package. With most bully sticks we've tried, there is a nasty odor when you open the package. This is due to the fact that they are made with all natural ingredients – you're smelling the beef.

These bully sticks are cooked at a lower temperature for a longer period of time than most similar products. This reduces the moisture content and, in turn, reduces the odor. Not only is the low-odor nice when you open the package, it also keeps your dog's breath from smelling like beef pizzle. Yuck!

Bully Bundles Dog Chews Review

Bully Bundles bully sticks are natural teeth cleaners, too. Actually, all bully sticks are. They act as a natural floss for your dog’s teeth. Bully sticks also cause your dog to salivate more, and saliva is your dog’s natural way of keeping bacteria off his teeth. Bully sticks are a simple way to increase your dog's oral health.

Our chocolate lab is a mildly aggressive chewer. She can go through one of these bully sticks in about 15-20 minutes. It takes our puppy and our boxer much longer. They'll chew on them as long as 45 minutes!

As I explain in my review, our boxer usually chews on hers for 15 or 20 minutes and then leaves it. Unfortunately, one of our other dogs usually snatches it right up and finishes it, but if you only have one dog he may end up using a bully stick for days before it's gone.
