This is a very simple dog ice cream recipe. I used frozen berries, but you can definitely use fresh berries if you would prefer. The mix I use has blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

To make this easy dog ice cream, just add the water and berries to a food processor. You can add more water if needed. Once it is pureed, just pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until firm.

If you’re going to feed this ice cream for dogs regularly, you can substitute other dog-friendly fruits and veggies. Some of my favorite substitutions include:

  • pumpkin
  • cranberries
  • apples
  • bananas
  • kale
  • spinach
