It's common for dogs to have fear and anxiety about visiting the grooming salon. Grooming your pet at home can help ease some of the stress, and it will also save you money in the long run. If you're thinking about home grooming, you'll need the right supplies. Nootie Dog Grooming Supplies are fairly new to the market, but they're making a big name for themselves.
When you’re buying grooming supplies for your pet, you need to be mindful of their ingredients. This is especially important if your dog has dry and/or sensitive skin. Will the products be safe for your dog? Will they aid in the overall health and well-being of your pup's skin and coat?
When shopping for grooming products, you need to look for gentle ingredients that won’t dry out the skin and leave the coat dry and brittle. The fragrance should come from natural ingredients, not artificial perfumes. Of course you want Fido’s coat to be shiny and clean, but you can’t sacrifice his health for that!
Nootie Dog Grooming Supplies are designed to be safe for pets and their owners. After all, these products will be touching your skin too. The company offers a hypoallergenic formula, products made specifically for puppies and even grooming supplies that are specifically formulated to nourish damaged skin and coats.

The products come in a wide variety of fragrances, from Japanese Cherry Blossom to Warm Vanilla Cookie. The scents aren't overpowering, which is important to me. I don't like the perfumey smelling grooming products that leave your dog with an overpowering scent for days after you've bathed him.
These scents leave your pup smelling fresh for days, but it's a pleasant aroma that won't give you a headache. All Nootie Dog Grooming Supplies are made in the U.S.A., and are made with natural ingredients that have been shown to improve skin and coat health.
I tested the Nootie Jojoba Oil Shampoo with a Sweet Pea and Vanilla scent. The ingredients in this formula are: purified water, decyl glucoside, coco betaine, glycerin, polyquat 7 (conditioner), jojoba oil, infused with essence of sweet pea and vanilla, preservative.
Nootie dog grooming supplies are soap and paraben free. They are also safe to use with topical flea and tick treatments. In my video review above, you can see how well this shampoo lathers and how easy it is to rinse from the coat.
Some dog shampoos are greasy and take longer to rinse. These types of products also leave a residue behind that you can feel when your dog's fur dries. Nootie dog shampoo leaves our dogs' coats smooth and clean with no nasty residue.
I also tried the sweet pea and vanilla dog ear wipes. As you can see in my video review, they clean very well. They're gentle on the ears, so I would definitely recommend these wipes for dogs with sensitive skin.
Compared to cheap grooming products, Nootie dog grooming supplies are definitely a healthy and safe alternative. They don't contain the common chemicals found in other shampoos and grooming wipes, and there aren't any toxic chemicals in them.
However, the higher quality ingredients used to make these products also come at a higher price. While you can purchase cheap dog shampoo and conditioner for less than $5 per bottle, you also have to remember that you'll get what you pay for.
The shampoo can be purchased on Amazon for $13.85 for a 16-ounce bottle. You can also buy a 70-count container of ear wipes for $12.99. While Nootie dog grooming supplies are more expensive than lower quality options, they are still affordable on any budget. Also, remember that these products will last for a long time – at least a few months!
