Review: Spruce Grab & Go Leash Bag

All dogs need to be walked on a leash at one time or another. Whether you have to walk your Fido multiple times per day or just once in a while when you're traveling or making a trip to a vet, having the right gear is a must. The Spruce Grab & Go Leash Bag helps owners carry their necessities while keeping their hands free to tend their pet.

If you walk or run with your pet on a regular basis, you can understand the hassle of trying to hang onto your cell phone, car keys and poop bags while keeping one hand on the leash. A leash bag allows you to bring along everything you need while keeping your hands free to control your dog.

This bag attaches to your leash and dangles on the lead while you're walking. I was concerned that it would slide down the leash or be too heavy, but I was pleased to find that it stays in place and didn't bother me at all while walking my dogs. For all the details about the bag, keep reading!

Spruce Grab & Go Leash Bag Review

Spruce Grab & Go Leash BagAs I demonstrate in the video review above, you thread your dog's leash through the center of this bag. The bag zips closed to keep your belongings safe and stays securely in place on the leash while you're walking your dog.

There is a pocket on the front of the bag to hold dog poop bags. They're easy to access, which is especially convenient. There is also a pen holder and a small pocket that is perfect for storing business cards, credit cards and/or your ID.

I like the key clip that is inside the bag as well. I live in a rural area, so we have to drive to get a dog park or walking trail. It's easy to clip my keys inside the bag, and I know they are safely stored – no more worries about dropping my keys!

In my video guide I also show you the belt clip that is attached to the back of the Grab & Go Leash Bag. I like this option, because I walk my dogs off-leash quite often. I still have the convenience of the leash bag without actually having to use a leash.

You can only buy the Spruce Grab & Go Leash Bag through the company's website right now. Hopefully it will be available through other online retailers in the future. It retails for $29.99 for the bag alone or $44.99 for the bag and a 6-foot nylon leash.

Compared to other dog walking bags, this one is priced a little high. However, it's made with quality materials and will surely last for a long time. I do think it's a good value for the money if you're going to use it all the time. I also think it would make a nice, inexpensive gift for any dog owner on your holiday shopping list.
