After a quick search online, you’ll realize that there are thousands of dog supplies websites promising free stuff for dogs. They offer everything from dog treats and dog food to toys and accessories. However, many of these sites want you to input personal information or buy one of their dog products before they give you a list of where to find dog stuff for free.
Don’t let those marketing schemes fool you. There are plenty of places to get free stuff for dogs with no strings attached; you just have to know where to look. There's even great sites with deals for dog owners. Just remember that if a site requires that you buy something before getting a product for free, odds are they are jacking up the price of the original product to make up the difference of giving away the freebie.
Likewise, it's never wise to give out your personal information online, even if it means getting free stuff for dogs. These kinds of companies bait you in with the promise of free goodies and end up selling your email address, mailing address and phone numbers to other companies that will quickly fill your mailboxes with spam messages.

How to Get Free Stuff for Dogs
First, where does one get free stuff for dogs?
There are several legit websites that either have great deals on dog products, or offer plenty of doggy supplies for owners completely free of charge. Below, I'll list just a few, but you can find more using the similar website models. We're not associated with these websites in any way, so there's no biases here.
Hunt4freebies.com and icravefreebies.com are two websites that do the hard work for you. They search the internet regularly looking for legitimate offers for free pet products and then post the links for their users. You don’t have to join anything or sign up for email alerts.
All you have to do is scroll through the site, find the freebies you want, and click the links. It’s that easy. Just be sure you don’t get sucked in to any of the deals that claim you’ll get more freebies if you fill out a form requiring personal information. In the long run, it will be much more trouble than the freebies are worth.
BarkPost is another great website. They give pet owners tips on the best deals for traveling with pets. They’ll show you how to get a 2-for-1 rate when your pets travel with Southwest Air, and they have a great list of hotels that let dogs stay for free.
BarkPost.com offers the internet’s most extensive list of pet product freebies and all-around good deals for pet owners. Did you know that restaurants, including Tim Horton’s, Dairy Queen, Johnny Rockets, and many more offer free goodies for dogs? BarkPost tells you where you can go to get free treats for your pooch, and they even list restaurants and stores around the country that allow you to bring pets in to shop or dine with you.
Free dog food samples and free dog toys
If you’re looking for something specific, like free samples of a new dog food or dog chew toy, it is best to go directly to the manufacturer’s website. For example, if you’re getting a puppy and are looking for free doggy chew toys, try visiting some of the major chew toy companies' websites, like KONG or Nylabone, and request a free sample from there.
Also, remember to check out our Reviews page where we discuss all types of new dog products from new dog companies. Some of these lead to free giveaways, and for others, you can reach out to these companies asking for a free sample. It's always worth a try if you're looking for ways on how to get free stuff for dogs!
This will save you a lot of time if you don't want to search through those other websites looking through piles of free product offers until you find one you are interested in. No matter what you're looking for, if it is something in particular, it may benefit you to ask the manufacturer directly.
RELATED: Where to Find FREE Dog Food Samples
Sometimes, companies have free samples to give away (usually this works well with dog food and treat companies) and other times they may send you a free sample in exchange for an honest review of the product. Once in a while, companies will also send out free samples of new products to pet parents in order to spread the word about the product.
Free stuff for dogs is wonderful. These dog supplies can save you money on the stuff that you would normally buy, or give you new options to try before you spend the money yourself.
One thing to keep in mind, though, is that you want to make sure your free dog supplies are coming directly from the manufacturer for safety reasons. Also, when you receive your free pet products, be sure to inspect the product and its packaging for any signs of tampering.
